Our custom-crafted Loft Ladders are a stunning and convenient addition to your home or business. Loft Ladders (often referred to as Ship's Ladders) are known for being an efficient cross between a stairway and a ladder. These ladders provide safe and sturdy access to those hard-to-reach places, but require minimum space for storage which makes them a perfect choice for those space-restricted areas of your home or business. Our Craftsmen are happy to produce stationary ladders like this one as well! This customer preferred the stainless steel rungs to match her decor, but most of our ladders have wooden rungs. We believe that necessary furniture pieces like this can (and should) be beautiful as well as functional. Rather than trying to hide your ladder away from your guest's eyes, you'll want to flaunt this beautifully handcrafted, antique wood Loft Ladder!
Shipping rate listed is for ladders less than 12' long delivered to a commercial address, or "hold for pick up" at a freight terminal near your address.

Can I use reclaimed wood in my home if I have radiant heat?
Wood flooring is exceptionally suitable when installed over radiant heat. Wood is an excellent conductor of heat, making our floors and ideal selection for use in your home. Wide plank flooring will allow even distribution of heat, making it very beneficial to the wood.
What We Do:
Historic Flooring specializes in flooring, wall coverings, trim and accessories produced from reclaimed antique and old growth wood with an emphasis on Heart Pine, Oak and Wormy Chestnut. The wood we use to produce Historic Flooring products was originally harvested anywhere from 100 to 300 years ago, when it was used to build America. We recue most of the wood from old barns, factories, cotton mills and other antique structures, many of which are Circa 1700s 1800s. The remainder is responsibly harvested Old Growth Lumber.
