As we dismantle old barns and stables, we take extra care to remove the doors. Most of the time we can remove the barn doors with the hardware intact. It is truly amazing how these sturdy doors have been able to withstand the test of time, sometimes for over 100 years! When used in a prominent location, a Barn Door makes for a dramatic look and will surely stir up conversation!
These freshly harvested barn doors are original and sold as-is. We do clean and treat the doors, but they are not kiln dried and some are off-kilter. The best use for these wonderfully character rich doors is in an outdoor application. Some of our customers use them in the garden as a divider, trellis, or even line a few of them up to create privacy.
Since these doors are not "Square", use as a functional interior door is not recommended, but they do make interesting wall art!
We have a very large selection of antique weathered Barn Doors, and we are proud to offer you your choice of the inventory!
Doors that measure less than 36" are 200.00, wider than 36" are 300.00. Shipping will vary according to size and weight. Please call for a shipping quote.
NOTE: The photos are just an example of the wide variety of doors we come across and are not necessarily in our present inventory. Please call for exact photos of doors we have in stcck.

Are you available to answer questions about the application of the reclaimed wood materials for my project?
We are always available to answer questions regarding reclaimed wood products, green building options, as well as help you think about how you can use these products in your own home project. We'll share our expertise to help make your experience with using Historic Flooring products a breeze! When you've finished your project using Historic Flooring's products, you'll find yourself inviting your friends and family over to look at the breathtaking beauty that only antique wood can offer!
What We Do:
Historic Flooring specializes in flooring, wall coverings, trim and accessories produced from reclaimed antique and old growth wood with an emphasis on Heart Pine, Oak and Wormy Chestnut. The wood we use to produce Historic Flooring products was originally harvested anywhere from 100 to 300 years ago, when it was used to build America. We recue most of the wood from old barns, factories, cotton mills and other antique structures, many of which are Circa 1700s 1800s. The remainder is responsibly harvested Old Growth Lumber.
