The "blended nature" of Ambrosia Maple often display mineral blues, greens, and pinks in addition to the natural chocolate brown and gray "streaks." Many refer to this wood as "Wormy" Maple when, in fact, the gray and brown streaking is not caused by worms but by the holes and tunnels created by the ambrosia beetle.
